FOR... The Forgotten - Day 4

Opening Prayer:

Dear Lord and Savior, you uniquely created each person and they are of value to you. Let me see others the same way.

Read: Matthew 25:40 (NIV)

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”

Reflect:

What a beautiful truth: What we do for the hungry, the sick, the imprisoned, we do Christ himself.

Why is this so? Because God has uniquely created each person and they are of value to him. As Christ followers, we should care about what he cares about. Clearly, he cares deeply for the “least of these.” In fact, the last will be first. (Matthew 20:16)

Apply:

This is a verse worth reflecting upon. Write it down and carry it with you. I wonder what depth God will reveal to you? If a kindness enters your mind, what stops you from doing it?

Closing Prayer:

Thank you, Jesus. “You made me; you created me. Now give me the sense to follow your commands. May all who fear you find in me a cause for joy, for I have put my hope in your word.” Psalm 119:73-74
