Plot Twist: Week 2 - Day 3

Opening Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, we pray that if there is any non-confessed sin in our life, you will reveal it to me now, as I know nothing is concealed from you.

Read: Luke 8:17

For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known.”

There are some things that we are not meant to see or hear.  God reveals in his time.  He does not hide things from us. Certain things are to be unveiled in God’s timing.  Now we know, as carnal human beings, we love to hide things from people. We all love a secret, a surprise!  But we should never keep anything that we know would hurt anyone else deep inside us. I believe that there are many secrets inside the walls of prisons today and I pray that all will be brought out one day. We know from reading stories in the Bible, starting with Adam and Eve to David, that God is all-knowing and it will be a matter of time before the truth is manifested. God makes his light perfectly clear and he illuminates the way.  We should not veer off the path. However, when we do, repent. I don’t know about you, but I love to be in the light of Jesus Christ.  The feeling of trying to hide a misdeed is such a horrible feeling. God knows we will walk off that path from time to time. He wants us back in fellowship with him.

Be authentic to God and confess your sins that you have never uttered out loud to anyone, especially him.  It is the best feeling when you experience the immediate light of his presence enveloping you.  Then you are to continue to be prayerful of all your messy days and acknowledge the darkness you slipped into even for a minute. As you are confessing, God is erasing.

Closing Prayer:

God, you know my constant desire to be in fellowship with you and bask in your light.  Keep me by your side as I walk in this sinful world.
